What a sensational way to spend 4 wonderful days full of creativity, motivation, laughs, great food and of course painting!
I attended the Barossa Blooms Workshop in November, 2019, along with my friend. We travelled up from Adelaide each day, enjoying the breathtaking scenery along the way!
I had done art in high school and as part of the curriculum had done some basic painting, but nothing really to speak of. While, I knew I could draw and had dabbled in pastels and charcoal (self-taught) and had attended a watercolour workshop, that was the limit of my ‘artistic’ experience. I was slightly nervous, to say the least- but Jacqueline was so confident and inspirational and some of the other people in the group were in a similar situation, not doing art since school; I didn’t feel alone.
I cannot believe how much I learned over the four days! My friend and I would debrief on the drive back to Adelaide each day and marvel at what we were learning and the way we were learning- it was an outstanding experience and we ended up with two fantastic pieces of art and the skills to create more at home! I was so inspired, that I have decided to join the How to Paint Blooms Online course to continue to grow my skills with 52 weeks of e-classes- I cannot wait to get started!!!

Just completed the Blooms painting workshop with Jacqueline Coates in the beautiful Kapunda- Barossa Valley. I have been following Jacqueline for more than 10 years - enjoying her beautiful creations and reading about her journey in her book. FINALLY I took that next step and joined the workshop and it was all that hoped it would be and more. I learnt so much and still can’t believe what we all achieved by the end. So much I have taken away from this course. Such a confidence booster. Jacqueline is an inspiring person with great teaching methods. Thank you to her and to all the wonderful people I met during this experience. I couldn’t recommend it more ❤️

If you really want to learn to paint a stunning picture Jackie is the one to take from. You need to speak Australian English to understand her. Just kidding, it’s marvelous being taught by her she is very encouraging.
Painting with Jac in Los Angeles is a wonderful gift to give yourself. It is a great learning/growing experience for painters of all levels.
After doing a Blooms course with Jac, I enrolled on the MMFA. As part of the course we had a week long residency in the Barossa Valley this week. It has been fantastic for helping me take my painting to the next level but more than that it has been a unique and wonderful experience. The week has been full of friendship and fun, great conversation and delicious meals (prepared by Jac in her gorgeous barn), fascinating talks and a visit to a spectacular iris farm. Definitely a life-enhancing experience.
8 lovely ladies and I have just completed a weeks residency course of the make money from art Jacqueline Coates painting programme.it is totally unique and a comprehensive emersion in beautiful blooms acrylic painting.The tuition,venue,company,excursions,food ,accommodation in Kapunda in the south Australian Barrossa Valley is stunning. The ladies and I have thoroughly enjoyed it and are sad to be leaving. Our painting has come ahead in leaps and bounds . Thankyou so much Jac ,see you in Perth in March 2019 love Patty Pearce
I have always had such a love of flowers because they take me to a happy place and a happy space. I had seen the Blooms course advertised a few years ago and then took the plunge to book. Nothing prepared me for such a wonderful 4 days with like minded people and such an inspiring person like Jac. She brings you out of your comfort zone and helps you believe in yourself and ability to paint which is powerful. This course has taken me to another level with Jacquelines guidance I have challenged myself and walked away with stunning painting and a renewed confidence.
I signed up for the MMFA programme and have just completed the 5 day in-house workshop. Such a wonderful week, challenging me to again push me to another level in my painting and finishing with such a beautiful piece. The one on one mentoring , the workshop , coupled with Jacs’ beautiful food was amazing. Waking up in the stone barn to birds singing everyday and walking out to the cottage garden , simply inspirational. The mentor programme has given me so much, spiritually , emotionally and mentally. I feel so focussed and can’t wait to start my next project.
l had such an amazing experience for 6 days with Jacqueline Coates this week at the live-in MMFA program in the beautiful Barossa valley, South Australia. For anyone with a passion for painting exquisite flowers, it will take your painting to the next level. l only started with Blooms 1&2 in March this year, and started to get serious about what potential there was for me. The attention to detail that we experienced with Jac was outstanding. The food and accommodation were second to none. l would recommend it to anyone that wants to do stunning work that they can share and sell anywhere. Definitely 5 stars all round.

Inspiring. I had only done 5 paintings before the workshop and I was nervous I wasn’t going to do a great job. I did! I have learnt so much from Jac and I am in awe of her talent. She is an artist I inspire to be. I would definitely recommend the workshops!
You start at zero and you see improvement as you go! I studied art in college and never learned what I have with Jacquelines methods!
Thinking about taking a workshop from Jacqueline? JUST DO IT! : ) Absolutely the best art instruction and resources available out there! The workshop that I did in LA was a blast and nothing short of life changing... I learned so much and can't believe the amount of videos, tips, mentoring and support that I've received from Jac and her program in the past year! The 'paint brush license' alone is worth its weight in gold. I remember hesitating before signing up.... but, WOW, am I ever glad that I did!! Thank you, Jac, from the bottom of my heart!
