FAQ’s
FAQ 1 - What is the difference between the 5 day Blooms Coastal Painting Workshop and the 5 day Blooms Painting Workshops?
Blooms Coastal explores freestyle painting techniques that allow you to paint a range of coastal painting challenges from coastal beaches, flora, human additions to seascapes, coastal nature and also sea side subject matter that relate to human leisure time. We start from a small size and gradually build the range of painting challenges and move to mid and large size canvases. I have run a number of Blooms Coastal Painting workshops with great success for the student painting outcomes. Many students have found the confidence to get rebooted with their painting or to take it further because it is a confidence producing workshop.
The subject matter is less tightly detailed orientated than Blooms ( floral) Painting Workshops which
teach my proven Blooms Painting Method, a system of painting that anyone can successfully apply for empowering painting results and gaining confidence in painting with detailed training. We paint peonies, roses, hydrangeas, frangipanis, irises, sunflowers, cherries, pears and so much more.
Blooms Coastal is in essence easy breezy with the beautiful colours of the beach and coastal lifestyle, with a range of accessible approaches taught to capture these subject matters, whilst the Blooms Painting workshop featuring sumptuous blooms is heady with natures feminine inspirations and the training techniques to be to capture these beauties.
Many of my students do both workshops.
