A Note About Dietary Needs
At Blooms Painting Workshop lunches are supplied and at French art school, lunches and many dinners are supplied. Whilst we are able to cater for dairy free, vegetarian and the gluten-free, we are unable to meet the needs of celiacs, FOD-MAP, those allergic to nuts or to those where certain foods may cause medical conditions. If you have for a strong preference for no mushrooms, bacon or ham, capsicum or beans we can most likely assist you. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
About Jacqueline Coates Blooms Teaching
Jacqueline Coates is an award-winning artist and internationally recognised art educator, renowned for helping students transform their painting abilities through her trademark BLOOMS Painting Method®. Her unique approach combines paint-handling training, practical techniques and a clear understanding of colour, giving painters the confidence and skills to take control of their artistic outcomes.

FAQ 1 - Where can I park at the venue?
Parking is free and onsite at the venue address supplied.
FAQ 2 - Where can I buy lunch if I didn't have time to bring it?
There are lots of options and the group may like to place an order.

Don’t forget I provide morning tea and afternoon tea which will also fill you!
FAQ 3 - What do I need to bring?
You can bring a couple of plastic containers for water.
If you need a stool to sit whilst painting at the easel then please bring one.
We have a few stored at the Guide Hall but not enough for everyone.
FAQ 4 - Do I need any previous painting experience?
No need to have already painted to attend. I take total beginners as well as more experienced painters and there is usually a mix of both in my workshops. Thanks to the Paint Brush Licence training and how we build the paintings in layers everyone does well with painting results.Â

There are loads of demonstrations and support is at hand. No need to be scared.Â
My teaching approach is kind and compassionate.
FAQ 5 - Can I sell my painting afterwards?
Of course you can sell your paintings afterwards.Â
Make sure you charge correctly. I will share some tips in class!
