WEATHER CHECK COVERED! We are working from the Rosebud Girl Guides Hall, not far from the beachfront, which has all the comforts we need, and the ideal place for me to deliver tuition and for us to paint. No need to worry about inclement weather.
WHAT YOU WILL PRODUCE

Learn to paint beautiful seascapes, dreamy clouds, the sky at dusk, as well as in sunshine, coastal vegetation, without all the boring time consuming detail, beach boxes, boats and more!
- Learn a sunshine coastal palette & the dusk coastal colour palette
Immerse in the actual beautiful colours of the ever-changing light and see the coast through the eyes of an artist.
NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
Take home a beautiful series of paintings to hang at home.
Above; Some workshop shares. I will show you many fun effective techniques.
See more colour and understand how to translate it to paint with fresh mark making. We are using acrylic paints.
Produce 4-8 paintings depending on the pace you want to work at, & enjoying guidance throughout. This is a catered experience where art supplies, lunch and refreshments are provided.

Meet my handy Blooms Travel Paint Box which is light and easy to use. This is your self-contained tool kit for the workshop. Great for both table top work which we will use & if you ever want to paint outdoors there’s no need for a traditional easel. It holds your palette, paints & brushes and stores 3 wet canvases. It’s the size of a small handbag. See the pic of me at intro of when I’m using it outdoors.
I provide easy peasy start up tuition to make painting seascape shapes easy to do. You will be warmed up & trained to paint successfully!
Let me show you how to create a coastal painting from scratch.
Painting sequences will be guided to start with then own choices. In true artist style, enjoy the inspiration.I will be demo’ing throughout and assisting and tutoring you to create a series of 20 x 20cm paintings.

Your art journey starts a week before your workshop, providing you with the basics of seascape painting and colours, in an online colour mixing pack so you already have inspiration and knowledge before we get together. Or just start at the workshop and enjoy this material later.
