Paint flies and spatters, medium spills, and if you aren’t wearing protective gear your good clothes end up wearing it! Regular aprons won’t cut it because they allow fluids to penetrate and generally don’t cover you up sufficiently.
The Blooms Art Apron is a LIMITED EDITION of 40 only sturdy aprons made especially for artists industrially sewn from Australian made art canvas with artisan made Australian cow hide straps attached with good looking strong industrial metal snaps.

When you put it on you know you are about to create so it’s great for the mindset and getting ready to work in the studio.
Pockets are sewn to hold everything from your paint brushes to smartphone or iPad ,car keys and lippy or whatever else.
The clever positioning of rivets to attach a paint cloth to the apron pocket suit either left or right-handed artists.
Included with each apron are two paint cloths of 100 percent cotton. The paint cloths are ideal if using oils or wanting to keep your apron front clean yet you like to control what’s on your paint brush by swiping it frequently. The paint cloths tie on and off easily.
The leather straps have a an attractive cross over at the back.

Will you be making more than 40 aprons?
Yes for sure, but they may not be artisan made and I can’t say when I will have them just yet. Artisans make beautiful things but they can’t necessarily make a lot of them. I went ahead with these to start with because I loved the leather straps and used this opportunity to make a small batch, to work with someone to test out samples and develop my ideas before going to 40 aprons. There will be more aprons in the future but I am still working on the right channel for production. These ones are special because they are the first, made in Australia and the straps and snaps add that special touch. I’ve been involved at every step and sourced everything myself. It’s my first edition of Blooms Art Aprons!
